Case Study

A 45-year-old male working in a marketing job, suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis, came to us with severely elevated RA factor levels of 408 after undergoing 2 years of unsuccessful treatments.

His Struggle

He came to us with complaints of chronic acidity, early morning stiffness and lethargy, puffiness of the face, radiating pain from the right to left hip joints, knee pain, stiffness in wrist joints, and swelling in the knees and ankle joints. These symptoms caused extreme pain while sitting down, getting up, climbing stairs, and walking, making it difficult for him to carry out his daily routine and affecting his productivity at work.

The Treatment Plan

His treatment protocol began with specific dietary changes. Only oral herbomineral medicines were prescribed, without Panchakarma.

No strict diet rules were imposed, as being a marketing professional, it was not practically possible for him to completely change his routine. Instead, he was advised to avoid aggravating factors such as green chillies, extremely spicy food, meat, besan, and maida.

• Not to hold natural urges
• To avoid extreme gaps between two meals

Monthly Progress

Within a span of 6 months, he started feeling lightness in the body and freshness after waking up. He experienced 90% relief in stiffness, joint pain, and swelling, although slight joint stiffness and pain while getting up still persisted for a few minutes.

The last two months of conservative Rasayan treatment helped him recover completely from the residual pain and stiffness in the joints.
